Live out Nanny, Chelsea, ASAP start
A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Nanny to care for their son, a happy and thriving boy who is currently 7 months old. He will be going part-time to nursery from May, but the number of hours per week will not change once he starts.
The role will be sole charge, however Mum and Dad are currently on leave with their little one (until end of January for Dad, and May for Mum) and like to be involved in their son’s life. They are looking for someone who is happy to work with them, as part of a team, for the wellbeing of the child.
The family is looking for someone kind and proactive, with high agency and initiative. Someone who will manage everything related to the boy, but in a flexible and cooperative way, will work really well with this warm and welcoming family.
An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.
Duties:
- All nursery duties
- Continuing the weaning process
- Cooking meals for the child
- Researching and booking activities such as playgroups
- Engaging the boy in fun games, both outside and within the home
- Suggesting new activities to the parents
- Keeping the child’s belongings clean, prepped and organised (including buggy)
- Helping to keep the child on a good sleeping schedule
- Doing the child’s laundry
- From May onwards: nursery drop offs and pickups
Salary: £20 to £25 gross per hour, depending on experience
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 6pm (the schedule will change from May onwards)
Driving: not required
Travel: bonus but not essential
Language: English essential
Other staff employed: cleaner
IMPORTANT: the schedule will change from May onwards, when the child starts nursery.
M: 8am-8pm
Tu: 4pm (nursery pick up)-8pm
W: 4pm (nursery pick up)-8pm
Th: 8am-8pm
F: 8am-6pm
