Part Time Housekeeper Job in Guilford, Surrey
A lovely family of five is looking to hire reliable and experienced child friendly housekeeper to help with their six-bedroom house.
The family has three children aged 9 months, 3 and 7 years old. Completing the family is a pet Labradoodle dog.
The family employ a full-time nanny.
Duties include:
- Cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Change bed linens and make beds
- Organize and maintain children's play areas and bedrooms
- Take care of the family's dog, including feeding, light grooming, and washing the dog if he returns muddy
- Support the full-time nanny with children's activities and supervision during late afternoons
- Assist with preparing and serving dinner for the children
- Help with bathing, dressing, and bedtime routines
- Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar role, can work with minimal supervision and maintain a high level of performance, is flexible, has good communication skills, excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks, trustworthy with strong interpersonal skills, and pet friendly. Valid driver's license and own transportation is required.
House: 6 bedrooms over 3 floors
Days & Hours: Monday to Friday; 20-25 hours a week preferably afternoon from 1pm to 6pm
Salary: £18 gross per hour (PAYE) but can be negotiable for the right person
