Part-time Maintenance / Handyperson Job - Peak District nr Macclesfield - start asap - min 16 hours per week - min £12.00 per hour depending on experience
Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance / Handyperson to take on a part-time role looking after holiday let properties in the Peak District near Macclesfield (between Macclesfield and Buxton).
They are looking for someone who has previous experience looking after all general property maintenance tasks and who can work as part of a small team looking after both the maintenance and general security.
This is a permanent, part-time role offering a min 16 hours per week, working days can be flexible although Friday is likely to be a working day.
Applicants need to live within an easy commute of the property (own transport) and be able to get to the property in all seasons.
Duties will include:
Working with the Head Housekeeper to maintain the holiday lets
Maintain all outside areas and ensure that they are clean and tidy including jet washing, sweeping, cleaning doors, windows and gutters.
Maintenance of Garden Furniture
General property maintenance inc replacing light bulbs, filling log baskets and putting out the bins.
Hot tub cleaning and chemical balancing
Oversee contractors
Reporting and logging larger maintenance issues
Meter reading
Assisting with Health & Safety checks
General maintenance gardening
Be a key holder for the property
