Short Term Chef Job 

A lovely client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a private chef who specialises in international cuisine to cook for her clients in Southampton. There isn't any accommodation or relocation provided as someone local would be preferred for the job. There is a potential of the placement becoming permanent for the right candidate. Start date is to be confirmed but it will be of September 2025 and a potential 3-month booking with the option of going permanent. Working hours are 5 days per week (days off in lieu if you work on weekends)

The client is seeking a skilled and versatile private chef to cook primarily for a small family of 4 in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience in a range of cuisines with a strong focus on South Indian, North Indian, Asian, Japanese, and Italian dishes.

Duties & responsibilities:

  • Planning and preparing daily meals for the family

  • Catering to diverse palates and dietary needs (once confirmed)

  • Ensuring kitchen hygiene and cleanliness

  • Occasional flexibility for guests or special meals

  • Additional tasks: To be confirmed

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with south indian cuisine, has 2-4 years experience in private households or similar settings. Local to Southampton or able to commute (no relocation or housing provided) and is flexible and a team player 

Salary/ Day rate: Dependent on experience
