Short Term Live out Housekeeper, Notting hill.
A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Housekeeper to look after their newly refurbished home in Notting hill. The family consists of two parents, two children (aged 11 & 13). The family has a dog. The family are informal and relaxed, although they still like their home to be presented to the highest degree.
Duties
You should be confident with all aspects of housekeeping and be able to clean and care for the home to a very high standard, with excellent attention to detail.
You will be responsible for the daily and deep cleaning of the household and ensure it is always tidy and presentable. Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and all areas of the house.
You will also be responsible for laundry, ironing, and ensuring that the home is generally well-presented and cared for.
Running errands if needed
Making an inventory of the pantry and keeping it up-to-date and well-stocked.
Light cooking duties, mainly food prep - but this isn't a big part of the role.
Requirements for the role:
Be highly organised and have great attention to detail.
Have experience in Private Households this is essential.
Have strong initiative and an eye for detail, the house is beautifully cared for, so you need to be able to come in and keep the standards high.
Be a team player, able to work on your own initiative, but also happy to manage and work alongside the other housekeeper.
The family are looking for someone who is warm, lovely and discreet with a calm personality and energy, with excellent common sense to get the duties done each day. You should be discreet and well-mannered, Flexibility and resilience to get the job done is key to this role. Attention to detail is extremely important, and you should enjoy working to high standards as requested by the principals. It's a varied role, they are looking for someone who can go with the flow and adjust to the daily requirements of the duties.
Nearest Station: Notting Hill or Westbourne Park
Property: 4-bedroom house, 3 bathroom over 5 floors
Days/Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm or 9am to 2pm
Salary: £19 to £22 gross per hour depending on experience
Start: ASAP for 6 weeks. The position could go permanent for the right candidate
