Short Term Housekeeper/Cook Job, West Sussex, from End of June to End of August 2024

A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in Housekeeper/Cook child friendly to help look after their home in West Sussex. The family would like to find someone who is an all-rounder, happy, friendly, laid back, to help and support when it comes to cooking for the entire family, housekeeping duties and sometimes the children (two aged 1 and 6).

This is very much a shared charge role and will involve travelling to polo matches with the family. You be likely to work weekends and can be a 5/6-day week.

There is a converted barn for the Housekeeper to stay during the whole time or during workdays. The family are flexible for the Housekeeper to travel home on her days off.

A driver is essential, and the role would not be suitable for someone who is allergic to horses.

An enhanced DBS dated with the last 12 months is essential for this role.

Confident drive (wheel on the left)

Start: End of June to End of August

Salary: £17 - £20 gross, depending on experience you will be on
Days: 5/6 days per week
Hours: Up to 8 hours per day
Pets: There will be horses in the grounds
Driving: A must
