Short term Live out Housekeeper/Cook job, Belgravia.
A wonderful client is looking for a confident, experienced Housekeeper to support them with their semi-formal family home while their current housekeeper is on annual leave. A small dog completes the family of 5. A full time Monday – Friday daily Nanny is employed and also a weekend Nanny. The Housekeeper must be child friendly.
Duties to include:
Daily Housekeeping (6 storeys)
Care of delicate items and fine fabrics - to include antiques, crystal, silver, and copper
Laundry, linen, and ironing
Clothing and wardrobe maintenance, to include caring for delicate garments and seasonal changes
Prepare a light breakfast for the family
Greeting and looking after visitors and guests
Walking the dog three times a day, locally and access to enclosed private garden square nearby
Running errands and provisioning for the household as needed
Evening turn down and kitchen tidy
Watering and refreshing indoor flowers and front window boxes
Occasional help with dinner parties and entertaining
Occasional support with packing and unpacking of Principals' luggage post holidays or business travel
The ideal candidate will be well-presented, self-motivated, flexible, discreet, have high standards, and is happy to learn/follow instruction when required. As the family have young children, someone who is cheerful and enjoys being around children is a must.
Start date: 2nd until 24th of December 2024
Days and hours: Monday to Friday, from 8am to 6pm
Salary: £18 - £21 gross per hour depending on experience
