Short Term Live in Housekeeper/Cook in Broadwell, Oxfordshire
A lovely client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a temporary Live in Housekeeper in Oxfordshire over the Christmas period from 22nd to 27th of December 2025. The family consists of 2 adults and 5 children. They employ a Nanny
The ideal candidate will be proactive, happy to muck in and get involved in supporting the family. Someone who can help with all relevant household tasks and support the family. As it is live in, the hours wouldn’t be stringent all day as there would be an element of down time.
Duties to include:
- All housekeeping duties
- Family style cooking (and willing to assist on Christmas day)
- Occasional babysitting - no sole charge
- Other small tasks and duties
Must drive (you will have access to a car)
The family is looking for someone who is happy to muck in, can do housekeeping to high standards and understands how to work in semi formal environment. the ideal candidate will be required to assist with Christmas meals.
property: 6 bedrooms house with 5 bathrooms over 3 floors and an annexe with 2 bedrooms
Duration: 22.12.2025 - 27.12.2025 (might be extended, to be confirmed)
Accommodation: Bedroom in the house - away from the rest of the family
Salary: £18 - £20 gross per hour, depending on experience ( paid double on Christmas day, Boxing day, and new year day)
