Short Term Full time Live out Housekeeper Job, Henley on Thames, Oxfordshire.
A lovely couple with adult children who visit on occasion are looking for a temporary experienced housekeeper to join them, looking after their large fully staffed 10-bedroom home in the countryside. It is an informal household, but they expect high standards. The role is a combination of housekeeping and assisting with cooking for the family on occasion. They entertain often, especially during the shooting season so you will be expected to be flexible and help out. Employed already is a head Housekeeper who you will need to work alongside.
We are looking for a professional, courteous, kind and relaxed team player. The role is a minimum of 3 days per week ideally, they would find someone who would be flexible to work up to 5 days With the odd day being on the weekend very occasionally although they will consider someone who can only do 3 days or 4 days.
Duties to include:
Hands-on housekeeping, cleaning and tidying to a high standard.
laundry and ironing
Food preparation and cooking
Managing the wardrobes
Occasional dog walking ( they have 2 large dogs)
Packing and unpacking suitcases
Helping when the family entertain
Other ad hoc duties as required
A full UK driving license and checkable references are essential. The ideal candidate for the role will have previous experience working in a similar role.
Property: 10-bedroom house
Days and Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30 am – 5pm
Salary: £17 - £20 GPH
Start: ASAP for 3 months
