A fantastic and exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a pioneering Hotel. We are seeking an Sous Chef to join a beautiful, family run hotel. Teamwork and staff are pivotal and valued. They describe their staff as ‘our family’

A hotel that is in tune with its environment and tread as lightly as possibly to minimise impact on the land.

Donations to the conservation charity Trees for Life and food miles and support for local businesses and only pair with partners that share their values.

Much of the food served is grown in their kitchen garden or foraged from local hedgerows and woodlands.

The Role:

Help lead and mature the dynamic team by producing some incredible seasonally inspired dishes to wow the hotels discerning guests and 95,000+ Instagram followers!

You will be reporting to the head Chef and leading the whole team, control orders and stock, oversee all overall kitchen standards and team knowledge of dishes and ingredients.

  • On a daily basis carefully direct and support the team, on each section, and with their stock control.
  • Conduct the morning meeting.
  • Exemplary knowledge of dishes, cooking and presentation on all sections.


  • Competitive Salary £33,500 per annum based on a 45 hour week.
