Temp. 5-6 month contract House Manager, Devon
We have a position for a professional, dedicated and experienced House Manager/Butler to take care of a formal shooting Estate in Devon. The ideal candidate must enjoy working on a sporting estate and have a strong private household background.
This is a fully staffed household and the candidate must work well within a team and have a helpful and flexible attitude.
This is the main residence for just two principals, however during the shoot season it is at full capacity throughout.
Duties to include but not limited to:
Household management
Ensure the smooth day to day running of the Estate
Oversee Health and Safety procedures
Act as fire Marshall for the property
Property security, setting alarms and locking up
Pet care, look after the two Labradors when principles are away
Budget management
Formal service for events
Provisioning for the household
Meet and greet all quests and visitors
Oversee interior staff, (3 full time housekeepers)
Liaise with the maintenance team
Liaise with the gardening team
Liaise with contractors
Oversee the upkeep of antiques and delicate items
Accommodation provided on site - 2 bedroom apartment (no partners or pets)
This is a temp role due to the principals waiting on a couple to start
Salary - Neg. depending on experience.
