Accommodation is provided in the Hamptons and in LA but not in NYC. The ideal candidates will be energetic and unattached in the prime of their career with few external commitments. Passionate about food and produce and with the ability to cater largely to the Mediterranean diet of the two principals who are influential in their own right and both have successful careers. The client goes through stages of often entertaining important guests and can be very social with high profile visitors but also often dining out sometimes 4 times per week. The successful candidate will have a high degree of confidence in all areas of cuisine and have been trained in a restaurant environment having also worked in private service. The successful candidates will also need to have the existing right to work in the USA and verifiable references proving their abilities in the kitchen. The role comes with a competitive package and a salary guideline of between $150,000 and $200,000. If the candidate does not already have accommodation in New York, then this can be discussed. The clients rarely entertain but will occasionally host dinner parties so the successful applicant will have the ability and confidence to cook for a larger group. The property is located in the centre of the fabulous island near Santa Gertrudis and the ideal candidate will live at a commutable distance to the home already. The successful applicant should have good household cooking experience and be happy to also do the shopping at local farms and markets as well as set the table clear the table and generally care for the home.
