Short-term Chef Job, Southampton, Hampshire A lovely client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a private chef who specialises in international cuisine to cook for her clients in Southampton. There isn't any accommodation or relocation provided as someone local would be preferred for the job. There is a potential of the placement becoming permanent for the right candidate. Start date is to be confirmed but it will be of September 2025 and a potential 3-month booking with the option of going permanent. Working hours are 5 days per week (days off in lieu if you work on weekends) The client is seeking a skilled and versatile private chef to cook primarily for a small family of 4 in Southampton. The ideal candidate will have experience in a range of cuisines with a strong focus on South Indian, North Indian, Asian, Japanese, and Italian dishes. Chalet Chef Job

Chalet Cook/Housekeeper - Lovely French Family - Meribel - Winter 26/26 We at Greycoat Lumleys are pleased to be assisting in the Search for a Chalet Cook/Host for this season.  This beautiful, private chalet in Meribel, France, is looking for someone to do the season with them. There is lots of downtime with his role but during occupied weeks its full on and demanding work.   Duties:  Cooking breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner for the adults and children. Serving and hosting mealtimes Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy Laundry – When the client isn’t there, linens, towels, and Ski clothes. Supervise hired housekeeping team, making sure the standards are kept high. Coordinate with the cleaning staff, to make sure the Chalet is spotless. There is a separate cleaning company that comes in to clean the Chalet, which does all the deep cleaning (bedrooms, bathrooms, vacuuming, etc). The busiest time will be over the Christmas period. The role involves preparing meals to a consistently high standard for the principals, their family, and guests, while maintaining a clean, well-organized, and efficient kitchen. Meal Preparation To source and procure all ingredients for meals and build a good rapport with local suppliers. To use fresh fruit and vegetables from the kitchen garden and to liaise with the gardeners about availability and quantity of fruit and vegetables required. To maintain the stocks of staple ingredients in the pantry. To prepare and serve breakfast, lunch and supper/dinner according for the principals, their family and guests. To ensure the highest standards of food hygiene are observed in the storage, preparation and service of food. To complete shared menu templates in advance, update and record guest and staff dietary requirements, and relevant information on kitchen laptop device To ensure wine cellar stocks are managed and maintained. Ensure a true record is kept of bottles used in the provided diary. To prepare sufficient food for any temporary live-in staff (e.g. butlers) to have after the Dining Room has finished service. The position is live-out and runs Sunday through Friday. The household consists of five family members, including children under the age of 15. The family enjoys a wide range of international cuisines, including Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern. Dietary considerations within the household include vegetarian and pescatarian preferences, as well as a nut allergy, so experience accommodating special diets is essential. Key Responsibilities: Preparing daily meals for the family, including a late breakfast/lunch served at 10:00 AM and dinner at 5:30 PM. Cooking a daily staff lunch.
