Estate Caretaker & Housekeeper Couple Job, Isle of Mull
This beautiful estate located on the Isle of Mull is looking for an Experienced Couple with passion and commitment to live within the estate and run its operations. The individuals will be responsible for the day to day running of the estate and its holiday let properties. The individuals have the use of an estate vehicle for their duties. These positions are not short-term roles, hence living and working on the island must suit the lifestyle of the applicants.
Responsibilities & Duties: -
Meeting and greeting guests & providing a welcoming “Front of House”
Gardening – applicants will have a passion and knowledge of gardening, there is a walled kitchen garden and duties include weeding, mowing, strimming, chainsaw work
Operating ground care machinery inc. Tractor
Fencing/gates, road maintenance, machinery & building repairs
Monitoring services e.g., oil, electric, water, septic tanks
Decorating repairs
Log cutting (supplies for all properties)
Weekly cleaning of properties including laundry services
Ordering of household goods and supplies, whilst working to a budget
Water supply maintenance (main spring and all water systems in properties)
Boat duties and boat maintenance (not essential)
Livestock management (not essential)
Salmon river management (not essential)
Days and Hours: 40 Hour week. The days and hours of work are to be flexible around the needs of the guests and business. The roll will involve weekend work.
Combined Salary: Up to £60,000 (depending on experience and agreed contracted hours)
Accommodation: Charming three-bedroom cottage with its own garden within the estate Utility bills and Council tax payable by the employee
