Sole Gardener job - Alderley Edge Cheshire - £30,000+ GPA
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a full time Sole Gardener based in the beautiful village of Alderley Edge, Cheshire. A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for an experienced Gardener who takes pride in their work, is self-motivated, organised, and able to plan and prioritise their workload.
The gardener will be responsible for all aspects of routine maintenance and improvement to a well stocked 2-acre garden which are predominantly laid to lawn with ornamental herbaceous and perennial beds, together with a small number of raised beds.
Duties will include:
- General maintenance gardening
- Lawn care and mowing
- Planting
- Weeding
- Hedge trimming
- Clearing leaves
- Jet washing pathways
- Basic DIY / Property maintenance
- Occasional assistance may be required to support two housekeepers in conducting practical tasks on an ad hoc basis.
Experience: The chosen candidate will demonstrate at least 5 years relevant experience, a good understanding of plants trees, shrubs, annual maintenance planning and the ability to work independently.
Full driving license essential.

£30,000 depending on experience + benefits
40 hours per week
23 day paid annual leave + bank holidays
