Gardener / Handyperson Job - Live Out - Spurstow, Tarporley, Cheshire - start ASAP - £35,000 GPA
Our client is looking for an experienced Gardener / Handyperson to look after a large private garden and grounds near Tarporley. The period property is set in beautiful grounds. The gardens are mainly laid out to lawns with some mix shrub beds. There is also a small lake and extensive wild flower meadows.
There is a barn which houses the garden machinery including tractors, mowers and other garden machinery. The garden can be easily managed but candidates should be experienced and knowledgeable. The candidate will also need to be hands on with general property maintenance.
Duties will include:
- Hands on maintenance gardening including lawn care, hedge trimming, leaf clearing, weeding and planting
- Use, care and maintenance of garden machinery
- Carry out minor repairs inside the house, changing light bulbs etc
- Ordering heating oil, chopping logs and taking them into the house
- Washing the two household vehicles
- Looking after hens and two dogs, helping with dog walks when they are away
- Power washing of patio areas
- Maintaining and painting fencing
- Driver essential
The client is looking for someone with previous experience in a similar role
