Groundsman Job, Alnwick, Northumberland
Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking an enthusiastic Groundsman who can work as part of a team at their property in Northumberland. Applicants must have worked in a similar role before and be able to take instruction, have a good temperament and strong communication skills.
The current team are longstanding and the Principals are very fair and appreciate their hard work.
The gardens consist of - woodland garden (15 acres), formal garden, walled garden, pond garden, kitchen garden, - large polytunnel and several vegetable cages, lawn - 24 acres in total
Duties Include:
Woodcuttings
Handyperson duties
Mowing
Assisting the Gardeners
Security of the property and grounds
Machinery maintenance
The Principals are looking for a professional a high calibre Groundsman who is honest and reliable with excellent references. Chainsaw and Spraying licences are a benefit to applications.
Accommodation: 2 bedroom property is provided
Pets welcome within reason
Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 GPA
Days: 5 per week
