Head Chef Job
Greycoat Lumley's client are seeking a Head Chef for their Private Exclusive Use Lodge approximately 2 hours north of Inverness. The a small rural community will suit if you enjoy being in a remote environment which has much to offer for the outdoor enthusiast. There are local hotels, bars, a primary school, community hall, bakery, holiday accommodation as well as many visitor attractions and on the North Coast 500 route. It is a great base for walking, hiking, mountaineering, cycling, wild water swimming and surfing.
Key Head Chef Responsibilities
Lead the team and manage the kitchen and the quality of food in line with high quality standards and procedures.
Consistently deliver a high quality food experience for guests in line with the Client's ethos and concept.
Design menus with produce within the budget allocation - balancing cost with value and quality.
Engage with guests to educate, inform and enhance their experience on the food ethos and conservation and regeneration story.
Effectively and conscientiously manage the Health, Safety and Environmental legal and policy requirements for the kitchen.
Lead and contribute to the overall effective and efficient venue operations including stock and cost controls, resources and standards and effectively manage the supply chain.
Consistently identify and design ways to engage and inspire guests, in particular to our Vision and Values.
Be a positive contributor to the Team, the community and the wider enterprise.

Passion and knowledge for using sustainable produce.
Excellent relationship and stakeholder management.
Due to the locations, possession of valid driving license or access to personal transport is essential.
You must be a self-starter and self-motivated and a bit of an adventurer.
