Live in Groundskeeper/handyman/driver Job in Jersey
This is a great opportunity to work for a lovely family in their beautiful new home in Jersey. They will be residing in a stunning estate, which is about 10 minutes from St Helier. They have one dog and the couple travel extensively between their homes, which are all fully staffed. They are looking for a very good all rounder, who can live on site and who is a team player. There is a Head Gardener and 2 other gardeners employed and a House Manager/Head Housekeeper also in the residence.
The main house, including additional cottages and sit on approximately 12 acres of land. The gardens are undergoing a huge redevelopment.
Duties include but not limited to:
- A team player
- Hands on with the garden such us mowing, pruning, weeding, hedge cutting etc
- Kitchen garden to help maintain if needed
- Interior and exterior maintenance
- Handyman duties (minor repairs and DIY)
- Dog care and dog sitting - if needed as House Manager/Head Housekeeper does this and loves the dog
- Security and responsibility for alarm and CCTV
- Some driving duties i.e airport runs and errands
Start: April or May 2026
Accommodation: 1 bedroom cottage. No pets.
Working week: Monday to Friday, with weekend work required if the principals are in residence and entertaining
Driving: required
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
