The Role
The Head of Events is a senior leadership position responsible for the planning, oversight, and operational excellence of the company’s events portfolio. You will lead the events team, manage cross-department coordination, and ensure consistently high standards across all events. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels in team management, organisation, and operational delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the events team.
Set clear standards, processes, and expectations.
Oversee workloads, delegation, and team performance.
Foster a positive, collaborative, high-performance culture.
Event Oversight & Operations
Oversee planning and execution of all events.
Manage and delegate incoming event enquiries.
Ensure exceptional standards of service, presentation, and guest experience.
Coordinate effectively between events, kitchen, and warehouse teams.
Maintain efficient operational systems and workflows.
Cross-Departmental Coordination
Act as the key link between departments for all event-related activity.
Ensure clear communication and alignment across teams.
Resolve operational challenges quickly and effectively.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
Minimum 8 years’ experience in catering or events.
Proven experience managing and leading teams.
Strong organisational and operational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
