Head Waiter Opportunity - Dubai, U.A.E - Immediate Start Available
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Headwaiter to manage all aspects of dining, from intimate in-room experiences to grand events, for a discerning VIP individual based in the UAE. This role demands exceptional attention to detail, a deep understanding of luxury service, and the ability to anticipate and exceed expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Dining Room Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the private dining room, ensuring impeccable presentation and flawless service.
- Manage and train dining room staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute customized dining menus.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the dining area.
- In-Room Dining:
- Coordinate and execute in-room dining services, from menu selection to delivery and presentation.
- Train and supervise service staff for in-room dining.
- Maintain inventory of in-room dining amenities and supplies.
- Event Management:
- Plan and execute a variety of events, including formal dinners, cocktail parties, and private gatherings.
- Manage guest lists, seating arrangements, and event timelines.
- Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown.
- Coordinate with external vendors as needed.
- Guest Relations:
- Build strong relationships with the VIP and their guests.
- Anticipate and address guest needs and preferences.
- Resolve guest complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
- Purchasing and Inventory:
- Manage dining room and in-room dining inventory.
- Place orders for food, beverages, and supplies.
- Monitor expenses and maintain budgets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Headwaiter in a high-end private household or luxury hospitality environment.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional service to VIP clientele.
- Extensive knowledge of fine dining etiquette, service standards, and culinary trends.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Additional language skills are a plus
Preferences
- European National EU passport Holder
- Happy to accept candidates from luxury Hotels, restaurants or similar roles
- Must have longevity in recent positions (3yrs +)
Benefits

- Salary of circa 15,000 to 20,000 AED net per month ( c£3,200 to £4,300)
