Full-time Live in Housekeeper/Cook job in West Sussex
This lovely client is looking for a hands-on, professional, energetic and experienced solo housekeeper. This is not the main residence as the family also reside in London however the grandparents are in residence almost every weekend and the family of 6 adults and 5 teenagers join during holidays. You will work alongside an estate manager, maintenance manager and a part-time cleaner. There is a dog which is owned by the estate manager.
They are looking for someone who is happy to be flexible and work to a high standard.
Duties to include:
Assisting with Cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
Mopping, hoovering, washing, and dusting
Lay table for meals
Cooking home-style meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner when there is a full house
Meals for Grandparents - No pork or shellfish (occasionally just lunch or dinner)
Dealing with online grocery shops, running errands
The ideal candidate will be discreet, pro-active, flexible, adaptable and a team player. Candidate must be great at cooking and baking. Must use initiative to bring tea/coffee and snacks throughout the day and must have attention to detail.
A well-behaved dog is allowed as well as cats. A driver is a must, and a vehicle is provided, or you may have your own car. No uniform is required.
House: 3 Storey Georgian House, 9 bedrooms & bathrooms
Accommodation: New build self-contained one double bedroom and bathroom with an open plan kitchen – separate entrance
Days: Thursday to Monday
Hours: 8am – 8pm with breaks in between. 8am to 6pm when there are no residents
Salary: £40,000 Gross per annum
Start: Flexible. Will wait for the right candidate
