Live In Couple Job - Nr Uppingham Leicestershire - Family home / Private Let Property - 1 bed self contained accommodation - start April / May - £60,000+ depending on experience
Our client is looking for a Couple to fill a slightly different role to that of the usual domestic couple. Our clients own a large period property near Uppingham which is partly used as a private residence for a young family but the main part of the house is let out on a commercial basis as luxury high end exclusive use holiday let with a difference. The property can sleep a maximum of 20 guests and they employ a full-time Private Chef who cooks for the guests providing three meals a day using home grown produce. The family also employ Gardeners and have local Housekeeping and Front of House Staff who are drafted in for change overs and for larger groups. A turn down service is also offered. The Couple will work to oversee the Housekeeping of the property as well as being hands on with cleaning and property maintenance. A background in high end Hospitality / Chalets / Yachts would be a benefit although not essential.
This will be an exciting and varied role for the right couple. The client is flexible with regards to the experience and background of applicants but some relevant previous experience is required.
Duties will include:
Hands on cleaning
Overseeing and managing the cleaning team
Managing the laundry
Arranging flowers for the house
Be happy to step in and help in the kitchen if required
Assisting guests during their stay
Helping Front of House / meeting and greeting guests and drinks and meals service
Hands on with general property and estate maintenance
Painting and decorating and general repairs
The family have young children and do employ a Nanny but it would be helpful if the couple were happy to help with occasional childcare.
Helping with general maintenance gardening
This will be a full-time role for both - average 40 hours per week over 5 days but there will be weekends needed and some weeks will be more hours and other less but there will be a balance
