Live in Couple Job in Worcestershire 

An exciting opportunity to work for a lovely family at their stunning 50-acre weekend country residence in Worcestershire. The family consist of 4 children: 6 year old twins, 8 & 11 year olds. There are dogs, goats and horses. The main house comprises 6/7 bedrooms. The family reside in London during the week and on occasion you may be required to travel to London to assist the family there.

Also employed are a team of Gardeners, a Groom, full time Nanny and a Couple (they take care of the laundry and lawn mowing).

The ideal couple will be flexible, warm, proactive and child friendly. 

Housekeeper duties:

  • Housekeeping duties will include cleaning, bed changing, laundry, ironing

  • Running errands and shopping

  • Simple family cooking when the family are in residence

  • Helping when the family occasionally entertain (BBQ lunch or children’s party)

  • Taking deliveries and overseeing contractors and tradespeople

  • Provisioning and organisation of household supplies

  • Very occasional childcare assistance when the Nanny is off

  • House sitting when the family are away 

Groundsperson duties:

  • Garden maintenance duties such as strimming, trimming, leaf blowing etc

  • Driving duties & vehicle maintenance

  • Household Maintenance duties such as clearing gutters and chopping logs for the winter

  • Basic repairs and DIY

  • Security

  • Liaising with contractors and tradespeople

  • House sitting when the family are away (the family travel most holidays)

Start date: Flexible for the right couple

Working week: 5 days a week, Thursdays to Mondays, with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Weekends can be taken off when the family are away.

Hours: 40 hours a week, with flexibility 

Accommodation: 3-bedroom flat. Pets will be considered for the right couple. 

Driving: at least one must be a confident driver

Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 combined gross annual salary, depending on experience
