Live in Couple Job in London
An experienced couple is required to look after a formal residence in London. The family have homes in the countryside and Europe and travel is required between 3-5 months a year with the family. The family include 3 older children and 2 dogs. The residence is over 6 storeys and you will be required to wear a uniform.
A housekeeper is also employed at the property in London.
Duties:
- Keeping the house clean and tidy
- Simple family cooking when the family are in residence (when the family are entertaining, they get Chefs in)
- Shopping and running errands
- Liaising with contractors
- Occasional childcare and animal care
- Driving duties
- Light gardening (watering plants, sweeping patios and courtyards)
- Household maintenance duties such as changing lightbulbs, checking on boilers etc
- Swimming pool maintenance
- Travelling with the family approximately 3-5 months a year
- Security
The ideal couple will be energetic, proactive, team players and happy to travel abroad. Experience working in private households is essential.
Start: ASAP
Accommodation: lower ground floor bedroom ensuite with a separate entrance. The kitchen is shared with the housekeeper who also resides in the London residence. No pets.
Working days: Monday to Friday with some weekend work when the family are in residence
Hours: 8am – 6pm
Driving: at least one must be able to drive
Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 gross per annum
