Live-in Housekeeper / Cook – Northamptonshire
A client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced, proactive, and highly organised live-in housekeeper/cook to join their established household team on a private estate in Northamptonshire.
This is a hands-on role with responsibility for maintaining the highest standards of housekeeping, alongside preparing good quality, nutritious meals for the principal. The successful candidate will work closely with three other housekeepers and other members of the wider estate team, making this position well-suited to someone who enjoys working collaboratively within a structured household.
The principal has a dog, confidence and experience around dogs is essential, including light dog-related duties as required.
Key responsibilities include:

Full hands-on housekeeping, maintaining the property to an immaculate standard

All laundry and ironing, including care of fine fabrics

Preparing meals to a high standard, with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce

Organising grocery orders, managing deliveries and stock control

Assisting with ad hoc household duties as required

Working closely with other household and estate staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
A driver is required for this role.

Accommodation: Separate cottage provided, pets considered
Hours: 40 hours per week, with days off during the week
Salary: £45,000 per annum
