Live-In Housekeeper, Switzerland
We have a wonderful role based in an idyllic remote location near Gstaad, Switzerland. We are scouting for an experienced Housekeeper to live-in the property which is the main residence for the principal & their family. The Housekeeper will work 5 days per week & the Housekeeper will be primarily in charge of the care and maintenance of the household, so it always remains ready for occupancy.
Details:
Full housekeeping, including laundry, vacuuming, bed linin, dusting, polishing, and ironing on occasion
Healthy family quality cooking required, only during off season when chef not available
Shopping for groceries, household supplies, and cleaning products
Two dogs are in residence (1 small, 1 large ) potential for some dog care and dog sitting (shared with part time HK.)
One Part Time local housekeeper, who comes each morning to do mainly laundry and ironing and a little cleaning.
Sweeping and general outdoor tidiness & light gardening tasks, organise outside pillows in and out etc.
Receiving and managing deliveries and packages
Driving to maintain the readiness of the small fleet of luxury cars

To be considered
Must have verbally verifiable references from previous households as a live-in Housekeeper – ideally in Gstaad or Mountainous location.
Must be a confident and capable driver in mountains environment and including snow – due to remoteness and the roads to the residence - very important.
Must be a confident family cook
Must like dogs and be comfortable around dogs
Must like children and be comfortable with occasional help with visiting Grandchildren - available for babysitting.
Must have an EU passport or ideally already have a Swiss work permit
Must speak fluent English or French, Swiss German a distinct advantage.
Must be happy to live in a remote location, often being on your own

High quality, separate accommodation in a neighbouring property 5 minutes’ walk.
5 Days per week, Monday to Friday, never more than 40 hours per week. Overtime compensated in the off season.
Local part time HK to assist during busy periods
