Live in Housekeeper/Cook Job in Somerset
A delightful family of six residing in Somerset are looking to hire an experienced housekeeper/cook to help them maintain their busy home to the highest standards. The family have 4 school-aged children, completing the family are two friendly dogs and a variety of other outdoor animals. They are seeking someone with great attention to detail and previous experience in cooking for a family as a part of their role. This is a really lovely role for someone who wants to feel part of the family. It will be a varied role where no two days are the same. The family have an Airbnb they would like the candidate to assist with running.
Duties to include:
Cleaning, laundry, ironing to a high standard
Cooking mostly just dinners, meal planning
School runs
Ad hoc babysitting
Walking the dogs
Shopping
Running errands
Checking on the cat when the family are away
Other ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be proactive, professional, organised and animal-friendly. With a warm and welcoming personality. Previous experience working in private households and checkable references are a must.
Driving is essential.
Accommodation: Separate 1 bedroom annexe newly refurbished within a courtyard
Hours: Tuesday – Saturday 10 am – 6 pm (flexible) overtime worked will be given as time off in lieu.
