Live in or Live out Head Housekeeper Job in Essex

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head Housekeeper to join a busy and welcoming family in Essex. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, proactive, discreet, and possess excellent leadership skills along with a positive, can-do attitude.

This role involves managing the household team and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the home. Additionally, the Head Housekeeper will support the family with their private needs as well as those of their extended family.

Duties include:

Overseeing and managing three housekeepers and one family assistant
Hands-on housekeeping
Managing the family’s private lives and wider family requirements
Supervising the household team and managing the household budget
Maintaining close relations with the family, friends, guests, and commercial teams
Reviewing the structure of the household staff and making recommendations for work efficiencies
Carrying out personal assistant duties as required

Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week with flexibility

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 GPA + Depending on experience

Accommodation: Separate cottage, pets and partners may be considered
