Full Time Live Out Housekeeper Job in Kensington, London
A returning client is looking for a flexible and experienced Housekeeper to join their fully-staffed household in Kensington.
The family have 4 children, 3 are studying in the USA and one is at a boarding school in the UK so they are only home during school breaks.
You will be joining a team of 3 existing Housekeepers, a House Manager, a Chef, security personnel and a dog walker.
The family has five dogs and two Burmese cats.
This is a formally run household, and there will be no travel needed.
Drinks and meals on duty will be provided.
Duties will include:
- Shared cleaning
- Some laundry and ironing
- Helping packing and unpacking
- Occasionally helping with simple preparation of breakfast in the morning
- Happy to take direction from the House Manager
- Feeding cats and helping walk one or two of the dogs
It is essential you are cat and dog-friendly. The ideal candidate for this role will be a good team player, happy working under a Manager, be flexible when the client is in residence and having a good attention to detail.
House: 5 bedroom home plus a mews house which consists of 2 separate suites in the mews house
Hours: 5-day week (to include weekends), flexible 8 hours per day, could be either 9.00 am - 5.00 pm or 12.30 pm - 8.30 pm shift
If they are not in residence only one weekend day is needed to work but if the family is in residence all weekends are to be worked.
Salary: £43,000 gross per annum (yearly salary review + end of year bonus)
