Live-Out Housekeeper Job in St. John's Wood, London
A prestigious household is seeking a reliable and professional Housekeeper with a keen eye for detail to join their well-established team and support the smooth running of a large 10-bedroom, five-floor residence. The household includes a single Principal and two small dogs, and the successful candidate will work alongside a fully staffed team including a Head Housekeeper, Senior Housekeeper, two Housekeepers, a Chef, and a Dog Nanny.
Duties to include:
- Daily cleaning across all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas to a high standard
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
- Correct use and care of cleaning products and materials
- Supporting other team members as required
- Running local errands as needed
- Assisting with household events or ad hoc tasks to maintain smooth operations
The ideal candidate should be dog-friendly, discreet, professional, proactive, flexible, and reliable. Previous experience in a high-end private household is required, along with strong references.
House: 10 bedrooms across 5 floors
Working Days: Full-time, five days per week
Hours: Rota-based, typically 7:00 am – 4:00pm, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm, or 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Weekend work is preferred, though flexibility for one weekend day may be considered.
Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
