Live Out Full time or Part Time Housekeeper/ Nanny Job near Alton.
Our clients are seeking a live-out housekeeper/nanny for their beautiful 8-bedroom residence near Alton. The household includes three school-aged children: one aged 11 and twins aged 9. There is also a dog, two cats, and some farm animals on the property, so comfort with animals is essential, as the role involves feeding and cleaning up after them.
The position will primarily involve housekeeping and preparing simple family meals from 2 PM to 5 PM, followed by picking up the children from their schools at 5:30 PM, feeding them, and getting them ready for bed. A cleaner will come in during the week to handle deep cleaning tasks. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining a neat and orderly home, as well as enjoying time spent with children. A friendly, easy going, and flexible attitude is important.
The duties will include:
- General tidying and cleaning of the property
- Laundry, ironing and simple wardrobe management
- Stocktaking and shopping for basic household items
- Grocery shopping
- Cooking simple meals for families
- Any additional errands
- Cooking and PA skills as a bonus
Good IT and administration skills would also be a bonus.
You need to be proactive, self-motivated and able to take ownership of the role, being responsible for and running the house when the principals are away. You will need to be a team player, working seamlessly with other staff members.
Driving essential, must have own car in order to get to the property
Hours: 40 hours a week
Start: When the right person is found with an emphasis of sooner rather than later
Days: Working 5 days a week Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 to £37,500 depending on experience
