Live out Nanny Job, Chiswick, Flexible start
A returning client is looking for a Live out Nanny to care for their two children aged 2 and 5 years old. The eldest is going to school and the youngest is going to nursery two mornings a week. There are two older children aged 13 and 16 years old in the household, who are both very relaxed and independent. They both go to school in Ealing, take the school bus, and have plenty of afterschool activities.
The family is looking to move in 12 to 18 months and, because everything is still quite up in the air, they will commit to a 1-year-contract but cannot guarantee longer employment at this stage. This will need to be reassessed down the road.
The family is looking for someone very kind and warm, who will truly enjoy spending time with the children. Someone happy with a certain degree of shared care and parents being around is essential; both Mum and Dad are in the arts industry and as such do not have standard 9-5 jobs.
Some organised and punctual with great attention to detail would be a wonderful fit for this family as both parents are very busy. This a wonderful opportunity to work in a laid-back, flexible, and fun household!
An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.
Duties:
- All standard nursery duties
- Cooking for the children
- Helping Mum with school runs
- Managing the children’s schedules
- Keeping up with the routine (appointments, school bags, etc.)
- Managing wardrobes and school uniforms
- Helping with homework
- Taking the children to activities, playdates, swimming, etc.
- Researching new classes and activities
- Going to Oxford secondary home during school holidays
Salary: market rate
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: 8am to 6.30pm
Driving: bonus but not essential (alternatively: confidence on an electric cargo bike required)
