Head Housekeeper Job - Live in or Daily - Peak District near Macclesfield - start asap - full-time - £27,000+ gpa
Our client is looking for an experience and hands on Head Housekeeper to look after holiday let properties in the Peak District, between Macclesfield and Buxton. This role would suit someone either with private Household or Hotel experience as the Housekeeper needs experience of keeping high quality accommodation to a 5 star level. You will need attention to detail and understand the importance of providing the guests an excellent experience.
You will be working as part of a small team responsible primarily for the cleaning and preparation of two large holiday let properties along with the smooth running and organisation, maintenance and general security of the properties.
Ideally this would be a local candidate but accommodation could be offered (see below). You need to be within commuting distance of the properties, have your own transport and be able to access the location in all seasons.
Duties will include:
Hands on Housekeeping to a high standard working alongside an external cleaning company.
Laundry and ironing
Ensuring the smooth running of the properties including managing small maintenance issues, overseeing contractors, reporting and logging maintenance issues.
Managing stock levels and keeping and inventory
Managing turnarounds and scheduling a cleaning rota
Welcoming guests and providing a tour of the property
Dealing with guest questions and issues, managing special requests with the head office
Arranging welcome hampers
Be a key holder for the property
Hot tub cleaning and meter reading in the absence of the Handyperson
Full-time role - normal working hours to be worked 5 days out of 7 average 40 hours per week.
Separate accommodation could be offered rent free - candidate to pay own bills - pets considered
