Live in or Live out Nanny, Jersey, March start
A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a Live in or Live out Nanny to help care for their two children aged 7 and 9 years. Their beloved Nanny or four years is stepping down due to health reasons.
The role will be a mixture of sole charge and shared care as Mum is around. Dad works full-time from home. The family is looking for someone sporty, outdoorsy, friendly, and flexible.
The family owns a property in Spain and travels every school holiday, either there or to other destinations. It is essential for the Nanny to be happy to travel with them. Driving will be required in Spain as well as home in Jersey.
An up to date first aid certificate and police check are essential for this position.
Duties:
- Standard nursery duties
- School runs
- Organising playdates and afterschool activities
- Cooking healthy meals
- Helping with homework
- Bathtime and bedtime
- Occasional proxy parenting
- Travelling with the family
- Running errands
- Food shopping
Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 GPA, DOE
Days: Monday to Friday (with occasional weekends)
Hours:
- During term time: 3pm to 7pm
- During school holidays: full-time hours; will always be abroad
Driving: essential – on both sides of the road
Travel: yes, during school holidays
Language: English essential
Other staff employed: housekeeper
Accommodation: separate apartment on the property (not connected to the main house)
