Full-Time Daily Nanny or Nanny / Housekeeper – Nr Knaresborough / Harrogate North Yorkshire - £36,000+ depending on hours and experience
A warm and welcoming family is seeking a full-time Daily Nanny or Nanny / Housekeeper to care for their 8-month-old daughter. This is a long-term position with flexibility for the right candidate, starting as soon as possible.
This will be a mix of shared charge moving to sole charge in the new year when Mum returns to work full-time.
The family can be flexible with regards to exactly how the hours are structured both now and in the New Year and we are keen to speak to local candidates and understand how best to structure the role based on the individual applicants and the family’s needs.
Role Details:
Location: Harrogate / Knaresborough area
Start Date: As soon as the right candidate is found
Child: One little girl, currently 8 months old
Nursery Attendance: Part-time currently, with a view to full-time by April 2026
Salary: dependent on experience starting at £36,000 GPA
Schedule (based on 40 hours per week):
Now – End of 2025:
Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:00pm with a one-hour break
From January 2026:
Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 6:00pm
(With breaks during the day when the child is at nursery – flexibility will be offered)
Note: Candidates must still be available during nursery hours in case the child is unwell and cannot attend.
Responsibilities:
All nursery duties
Nursery drop-offs and pick-ups
Meal preparation for the child
Keeping the nursery clean, tidy, and organised
Age-appropriate activities and developmental support
Occasional babysitting (approx. twice per month)
Occasional weekend work (approx. one weekend every two months)
Optional Housekeeping Duties:
If the candidate is interested in longer working hours, additional general housekeeping tasks can be included in collaboration with the family's full-time Housekeeper.
Candidate Requirements:
Experience caring for babies and toddlers in a private home setting
Paediatric First Aid certification
Enhanced DBS Check
