Part time Housekeeper Job in Queens Park, North West London

A returning client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking an experienced part time Housekeeper to help manage their new home in Queens Park. The household consists of a couple: the husband travels frequently for business, and the wife also travels from time to time and has personal commitments, so she is rarely home. They have family visiting once a year for two weeks.

The current housekeeper is leaving because her commute has become too long due to the family's recent move.

Duties to include:

  • General housekeeping: cleaning, laundry, and ironing
  • Changing bed linen and making beds
  • Managing dry cleaning
  • Keeping the home tidy and well-organised
  • Cooking simple family meals approximately twice per week
  • Keeping the garden tidy

The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills and be confident in running a household independently, ensuring the home remains welcoming, clean, and organised at all times. You must be able to communicate effectively via online chat and phone calls.

Property: Approx. 2,000 sq. ft, three bedrooms over three floors (only one in regular use) and a study and an outdoor garden

Nearest station: Queen’s Park / Kensal Rise

Days and hours: 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (can be flexible for the right person)

Salary: £18 – £20 gross per hour (payroll)

Start date: As soon as the right candidate is found
