Part-Time Housekeeper Job in Queens Park, London
A lovely, relaxed couple with a young adult son is seeking an experienced, part-time housekeeper with strong attention to detail. The family has a medium-sized dog.
The home features various delicate surfaces, including marble in the bathroom, parquet flooring, and brass fixtures; therefore, a good understanding of appropriate cleaning products and procedures is essential for this role.
The family already employs a part-time housekeeper, whom you will work alongside; however, you will be working on different days of the week.
Duties to include:
• General cleaning and tidying
• Laundry
• Ironing
• Changing bed linen
• Occasional dog walking (a bonus)
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in private households, maintain high standards, be thorough and detail-oriented, and demonstrate strong common sense.
Nearest station: Kensal Rise (overground)
House: 3-storey house, over 200 square metres
Other staff: a part-time Housekeeper 3 times a week (working different days of the week, so you will not meet)
Pets: 1 medium-sized dog
Working Days and Hours: Wednesday and Friday OR Wednesday and Saturday, afternoons preferred – 4 hours per day, with a maximum finish time of 6:00–6:30 pm
Salary: £19–£21 GPH, with a preference for self-employed candidates
