Part time Housekeeper Job in Highgate, North London

A new client of Greycoat Lumleys is seeking to hire a part-time Housekeeper for their home in North London. This is an informal household accommodating a professional couple with three children – one at university and two teenage children at home. The property is a four-floor, seven-bedroom family home. The household currently employs a live-in Housekeeper, and the successful candidate will work alongside them.

Occasional driving is required for school pick-ups (once a week, typically Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday) and running errands. A parking space is available, and an automatic car will be provided for work purposes.

Duties include:

  • Cleaning, laundry, and ironing
  • Occasional school pick-ups (driving)
  • Running errands
  • Working alongside the live-in Housekeeper
  • Keeping the home organised and tidy
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

The ideal candidate should be flexible, reliable, easy-going, and a strong team player. Consideration for holiday scheduling with the other Housekeeper is important. Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude are essential.

Days: 4–5 days per week - ideally afternoons to accommodate school pick-ups but could be open to 3 full days, also or similar
