Live-Out Part-Time Housekeeper Job in Hertfordshire
A client of Greycoat Lumleys is looking for a part-time housekeeper to work at their property near Chorleywood. The family consists of a mother, a father, and their two children, aged 11 and 14 years. The property features four bedrooms and is spread over two floors.
Duties to include:
Housekeeping
Maintaining a beautifully presented property
Deep cleaning
Laundry
Ironing
Changing bedsheets
Watering plants
Managing tradespeople when required
Occasional running of errands locally
Some basic food preparation
Feeding the family pets (3 alpacas) on working days when the family are on holiday
The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, proactive, reliable, thorough, with excellent attention to detail and capable of using their own initiative. They should have experience in a similar role. The family is looking for someone who is highly professional and who is willing to assist wherever needed.
Start date: March 2026
Hours: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning from 8:30 AM to 1 PM/1:30 PM, with flexibility for the right candidate. 18 - 20 hours per week
Salary: £18 - 20 Gross per hour
