Part-Time Housekeeper Job near St John’s Wood, London
A friendly, informal family with a young adult daughter is seeking an experienced, trustworthy, and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain the smooth running of their three-bedroom flat near St John’s Wood station. The successful candidate will ensure the home is clean, organised, and welcoming, and will occasionally interact with contractors and visitors.
Duties include:
- Daily cleaning of all bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas to a high standard
- Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe care
- Making beds and keeping the home tidy and organised
- Answering doors and showing contractors or visitors around as needed
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The ideal candidate will be an experienced, reliable, and trustworthy housekeeper with excellent attention to detail, high standards, and the ability to care for delicate surfaces such as marble, while efficiently maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home.
Nearest station: St John’s Wood (15-minute walk)
Property: 3-bedroom flat
Working Days and Hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 4 – 5 hours per day, flexible to start between 9 am and 11 am - the days and hours are non-negotiable
Salary: £19-£20 gross per hour (PAYE) - depending on experience
