Personal Assistant Opportunity - Barcelona, Spain 

A successful Entrepreneur based in Barcelona, Spain is now seeking a Personal Assistant to assist with Personal and Private PA duties, and to assist with their latest start-up with increasing corporate duties as the business grows. This will be a remote based role 2/3 days per week, with the requirement to be either at his residence or office location in the heart of Barcelona when required. 

Duties:

  • Complex calendar and diary management, including using technology to allow the principal to coordinate their schedules seamlessly.

  • Making bookings, appointments and reservations for the principal, including making suggestions for restaurants, performances and exhibitions.

  • Travel arrangements and holiday planning.

  • Research and project management of a personal, household and professional nature.

  • Events management.

  • Booking and liaising with contractors and household staff.

  • Utilities payments, invoices and basic bookkeeping

  • Helping with administration for the principal’s business.

  • Attending online and in person meetings and taking notes.

  • Business administration

  • Booking business meetings / attending business meetings 

  • accounts, bookkeeping and admin duties for the business 

  • Attending events, coordinate business functions 

To be considered: 

  • Must speak fluent English & Spanish 

  • Must be based within 1 to 1.5hrs drive from Barcelona, Spain or be able to relocate with ease (family home, friends etc) 

  • Must have an EU passport 

  • Have a verifiable background in private personal assistance or hybrid assistance (corp/private) 

  • Have a recent background / police check or be willing to do so 

  • Be IT savvy and well versed in Microsoft and accounting software 

Benefits:

  • Salary negotiable depending on experience, circa €50,000 to €60,000 (for exceptional candidates) Gross per annum 

  • Work from home 2/3 days per week 

  • Typically Monday to Friday, rarely needed for weekends or evening work 

  • mostly 40hrs per week
