Full-Time Personal Assistant Job, St John’s Wood
We have a fantastic position for a discreet, switched-on and professional Senior Personal Assistant to support a formal household in St John's Wood. Ideally, the candidate will have vast experience working for fast-paced international principals alongside day-to-day traditional responsibilities.
This is an interesting, busy and responsible role for an energised and experienced PA with a background demonstrating support in both a private and business capacity at a senior level for the Principal and his wife (the principal also has a Corporate EA).
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Maintain the Principal’s diary, ensuring private and other business appointments made do not conflict with any Corporate or other appointments, liaise with his corporate EA.
Book restaurants, hotels and clubs for both the Principal and his wife.
Arrange complex and ever-changing travel itineraries using both private and commercial flights for both the principal and his wife (and sometimes family members too).
Arrange payment of monthly household invoices and ad hoc payments and invoices.
Maintain private account records, including bank statements and household payments. Must be financially savvy and work with a cost-effective attitude
Keep household personnel records and contracts for staff, monitor staff holidays, and assist as issues arise, liaise on household staffing matters with the Principal’s wife.
Liaise with household staff on property maintenance issues.
Ensure monthly household staff salaries are paid, and relevant HMRC & NI payments made.
Manage household contractor works, book service appointments eg lifts, air con units, lighting, computer systems, fire and security
Assisting the Principal’s wife with her charity and film production work.
Liaise with key personnel: Accountant, Family Office, Family Trust, Family Foundation, Charities and other ventures.
Maintain records of all other private assets, including real estate, equities, and cars etc.
Be ready to assist and any unexpected venture that arises
This role is based at the Principal's house in NW London, but some work from home, or from a corporate office, may be required. There are multiple dogs within the home, so the Assistant must be dog-friendly.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and judgement and must be able to hold boundaries and handle sensitive matters discreetly. Be highly proactive, emotionally intelligent, and two steps ahead at all times. Tech-savvy, calm under pressure, and confident operating independently, resourceful, resilient, and have a great sense of humour
Discretion and confidentiality are key, and the willingness to give 100% to the role, someone who has worked in a similar senior environment is preferred.
Start date: October 2025 (One month handover required)
Working days: Monday - Friday (+ some additional hours, time given back in lieu
Core Working House: 9 am - 6 pm
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 GPA (+ for the right candidate)
Driving: Beneficial, however, not essential
