Overview
This is a key leadership role requiring exceptional attention to detail, strong management capabilities, and the utmost discretion. The ideal candidate will be experienced in overseeing complex households, managing staff, and delivering a seamless and elevated standard of service to an international family.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise all household staff to ensure efficient daily operations
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate household team members to uphold high standards of service
- Oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation of multiple residences
- Plan, coordinate, and manage private events, formal dinners, and family functions
- Manage wardrobes including seasonal rotation, outfit planning, and personal styling assistance
- Source luxury goods and unique items, both locally and internationally
- Oversee online shopping, shipping logistics, and vendor relationships
- Develop and maintain comprehensive household manuals, checklists, and SOPs
- Manage household budgets, inventory systems, and procurement of supplies
- Liaise with contractors, vendors, and service providers to ensure quality and timely service
- Maintain absolute discretion, confidentiality, and a high level of professionalism
Candidate Requirements
- British or European passport holder (essential for regional travel)
- Proven experience in a similar role within a private household or estate
- Prior experience in the Middle East or with high-net-worth/international families preferred
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Impeccable organisational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in personal shopping, luxury sourcing, and wardrobe management
- Confident in event planning, budgeting, and vendor negotiations
- Tech-savvy, with proficiency in managing digital schedules, inventories, and documentation
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Flexible, discreet, and service-oriented with a calm and composed manner
