Short Term Live out Laundress Job in London
Our Middle Eastern Client is looking to appoint 2 professionals, experienced, and discreet Temporary Laundress and Housekeeper/Laundress to work at their large, fully staffed Household in Mayfair. The role is to start ASAP until around 17th October. Working alongside the existing Housekeeping team and reporting to the Head Housekeeper, our Client is searching for candidates with a team player mentality. A willingness to muck in where required with a positive attitude and an energetic approach are essential, for this fast-paced role.
Flexibility required, working 6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day when client in residence.
You will be working collaboratively with other Household staff to ensure that all of the Family’s needs are met. You will be well-presented and versatile with ability to undertake both housekeeping and laundry duties.
Hot meals & beverages will be provided on-site and there is a fully equipped staff area where breaks can be taken. Candidates must be London based to ensure a fuss-free commute.
You will be required to provide your own slim fitting black trousers, comfortable black indoor plimsoles / flats and a long sleeved black collared shirt.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• General cleaning of the Laundry room
• Management of all household laundry, including clothing, linens, etc.
• Care and laundering of fine fabrics including cashmere, silks, bespoke suit materials etc.
• Care and laundering of childrens clothes
• Care and laundering of all staff uniforms
• Shoe cleaning
• Ironing, pressing, folding, and appropriately hanging/storing all items
• Washing
• Fluency in English and eligibility to live and work in the UK
• Hardworking with high attention to detail
Other staff employed: Fully Staffed
Working days and hours: 9am to 5/6pm, Flexibility required
Salary: £negotiable (on Greycoat Lumleys payroll)
Start: ASAP and to run until the 17th October (to be confirmed, dependant on the Clients schedule)
