Writing the perfect CV for Private Household work

Objective: state what kind of role you are looking for.
Work History: start with your most recent job and work backwards.
Make sure you explain any gaps when you were not working and include:

Employment dates: e.g. May 2016 - December 2019
Provide the reason for the employment coming to an end - e.g. the employer relocated abroad
Job title: Housekeeper/Nanny
Full time or part time employment
Name of employer: if you are able to provide this (privacy issues may not permit)
Location of job: e.g. London (include area e.g. Chelsea or Kensington) or Manchester
Number and ages of children if relevant (ideally give their ages from when you started the role)
Education and qualifications: give details of your educational background and list any professional qualifications that you hold.

Provide your main duties conducted, for example:

Cleaning a 4 bedroom house
Polishing silver
Caring for delicate clothing
Walking the dog
Running errands
Laundry and ironing
Helping look after 4 children who were 4 months, 2, 5 & 7 years old at the start of the employment
Taking the children to school and after school activities
Preparing daily meals for the whole family
