Live out Housekeeper Job near Burford, Cotswolds
A HNW family based in the Cotswolds is seeking a professional Housekeeper to join their home. This family home is set in beautiful surroundings, offering a varied and rewarding role for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards and has a keen eye for detail. The household team is supportive, and the successful candidate will report to the Head Housekeeper, playing a key role in keeping the home welcoming and organised for both family life and entertaining guests.
Duties include:
- Carrying out daily housekeeping duties to an exceptional standard, including cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, and living areas
- Laundry care, including washing, ironing, folding, and wardrobe organisation, with particular attention to delicate and high-end fabrics
- Keeping all areas of the home tidy, well-presented, and stocked with necessary household items
- Assisting with the preparation and running of events or family gatherings, ensuring rooms and service are of the highest standard
- Supporting the Head Housekeeper to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the household
- Monitoring household supplies and managing inventories to maintain stock levels
- Running errands such as shopping or accepting deliveries when required
The ideal candidate should be professional, discreet, and highly organised. The household is looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, welcoming, and well-run home. Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach are essential. Previous experience in a similar role within an HNW or luxury household is preferred.
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, on a rota basis across 7 days
Salary: £38,000 gross per annum
