Live in Head Gardener Job in Hampshire

We have a great position for a hardworking and passionate formal gardener to take care of a beautiful estate in Hampshire. This role would suit a keen and pro-active outdoors candidate who ideally has RHS qualifications. There are lots of planting projects to be involved in and areas within the garden to develop. There is also an assistant groundsman to work alongside.

Responsibilities:

  • Small vegetable patch

  • Fresh cut flower garden

  • Rose garden

  • Develop the sunken garden

  • Formal and informal flower beds

  • Care of the newly planted hedges

  • Care of the newly planted trees

  • Lawn care

  • Maintain all garden machinery, ensure in good working order

  • Liaise with contractors

  • Care of the Swimming pool

  • Care of the Tennis court

Start date: July ideally

Working week: Monday – Friday

Accommodation: 2 bedroom cottage, (partner and small dog welcome) 

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 GPA depending on experience,
