Live in or Live out Housekeeper Job, Jersey
A relaxed and down to earth family with 2 school-age children residing in Jersey are looking for a live-in or live-out housekeeper to help them look after their beautiful home that sits on 40 acres of land. The family have farm animals on their land which are looked after by the land manager but have no pets inside the property. There are three properties on the estate, the main family residence consists of 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. There is a second home which consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom where an elderly family member lives. There is also a third property in the early stages of being renovated. The housekeeper is only required to work across two homes
Duties to include:
Cleaning, laundry, and ironing to a high standard
House sitting
Helping when the Client entertains
Simple family-style cooking on occasion for 4-5 people
Stocking the house with food, running any errands
Occasional travel with the family would be a bonus
Occasional ad hoc child minding
Deep cleaning
Managing wardrobes
Other ad hoc duties as required
Some companionship for the elderly family member (no care duties)
The ideal candidate would be a self-starter, Honest, cheerful and kind. Someone with proven experience in a similar role is desirable. Someone also who is flexible and a team player.
A driver with a full clean driving license is essential. Please only apply if you are a resident of Jersey
Accommodation: Brand new amazing accommodation will be offered within an apartment block with sea views. All bills included and use of a car. Pets and partners will be considered
Days: 5 days flexible on the days the client would like at least every other Saturday. If you work a Saturday the Sunday and Monday will be given off
Hours: 40 hours with flexibility if there is a special occasion (time off will be given in lieu)
Salary: Live in up to £45,000 Live out up to £60,000 Gross per annum. This is dependant on experience and if you are happy to work over the weekend and have days off in the week
