Part-Time Housekeeper Job in Hampstead, London
A warm and welcoming couple with their 3-year-old son is seeking an experienced, part-time housekeeper to help maintain their 4-storey, 3-bedroom family home in Hampstead. This is an informal household, and the client is looking for someone who can ensure the smooth day-to-day running of their home. The property includes some sensitive wooden furniture, so a good understanding of suitable cleaning products and proper care techniques is essential.
Duties to include:
- General cleaning and tidying
- Laundry, including some hand washing
- Ironing
- Batch cooking simple family-style meals for the family
- Organising the weekly online food shop
- Occasional dry-cleaning drop-offs and collections
- Maintaining organisation throughout the home
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in private households, be proactive and organised, have strong attention to detail, and be confident with family cooking. A calm and child-friendly manner is important, as this is a home with a young child.
Nearest station: Hampstead (Northern line) or a little further, Hampstead Heath (Overground – Mildmay line)
House: 4-storey, 3-bedroom house

Working Days: Flexible on days for the right candidate, as long as it is not on Friday or over the weekend
Working Hours: 10–15 hours per week, mornings preferred, but if there is an afternoon candidate, they must finish by 6:30 / 7 pm
Salary: £19–£21 gross per hour (depending on experience) – open to both payroll and self-employment
