Part-Time Housekeeper Job in Hackney, London
A warm and welcoming mum with two teenage children is seeking an experienced, part-time housekeeper to help maintain their 3-bedroom, two-floor terraced home in Hackney. This is a relaxed family household with a simple interior, and the client is looking for someone who can ensure the smooth day-to-day running of their home and maintain a consistently high cleaning standard. No childcare duties are required; however, the ideal candidate should be comfortable around teenage children. The family also has two cats, so being cat friendly is essential. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in private households, be proactive and organised, have strong attention to detail, and take real pride in their work. Good communication skills and a conscientious attitude are highly valued.
Duties to include:
- General cleaning to a high standard
- Laundry and ironing
- Making beds
- Emptying the cat litter robot once per month
- Maintaining organisation throughout the home
Nearest station: London Fields & Hackney Downs (overground)
House: 3-bedroom, 2-floor terraced house
Other staff: None
Pets: Two cats
Working Days: Twice per week – preferably Monday & Thursday, though they are also open to Tuesday & Thursday or Tuesday & Friday
Working Hours: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm (4 hours per day, 8 hours per week)
Salary: £19–£20 gross per hour – self-employed basis
