Live in Housekeeper job near Farringdon, Oxfordshire
A professional down to earth couple with a friendly dog and 2 cats need the help of an experienced housekeeper for their beautiful period 2 bedroom home with 4-bed outbuildings in Farringdon Oxfordshire. The role is primarily hands-on housekeeping with some additional driving, gardening and house/pet sitting. One of the principals works 5 days in London and the other principal works 2 days in London. You must be animal friendly as they have 2 cats who you would have sole care for 2 days a week after when they are away and a friendly dog who tends to stay in London during the week.
We are looking for an all rounder, someone who is friendly, dependable and proactive - who takes pride in their work and is happy to be flexible. Ideally, they would love it if you were interested in Gardening so that you could assist in doing light gardening duties for 8 months of the year. They are also happy for you to have additional roles for other employers to supplement your income. They have grown-up children who tend to visit roughly every six weeks.
Duties
Hands on Housekeeping, Cleaning and tidying to a high standard,
Laundry, Washing and Ironing.
Changing beds
Running errands
Dealing with contractors and tradespeople.
House and pet sitting
Some driving duties
Gardening duties
Partners cannot be accommodated Pets such as an Indoor cat would be considered but please no dogs.
Driving essential to get to the property, Must have own car to get to the property but use of a car is provided if needed for work purposes.
Hours: 20 hours per week ( Ideally in the mornings) with flexibility
Monday - Friday will consider 4 days per week
Accommodation self-contained annex flat with own front door all bills paid
Salary £17 Gross Per hour (Approx £17,680 Gross per annum)
